Overview

This policy explains what information ProfitPit collects when you use this prelaunch website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the waitlist, referral program, and the admin functions of this site. The full ProfitPit platform will have its own privacy policy before launch.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, the time you gave consent, which signup form you used, and the referral code of whoever invited you, if any.

When you follow a link to this site, we may also record campaign tags from that link (such as utm_source, utm_medium, or utm_campaign) so we can understand which channels bring people to the waitlist.

Like most websites, our hosting provider processes basic technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit) to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

How we use it

We use your email only to send early-access invitations, platform updates, and launch news you agreed to receive. Referral codes are used to count legitimate invitations and award referral standing. Campaign tags are used in aggregate to measure where signups come from.

What we don't do

We do not sell your information. We do not share your email with advertisers. Waitlist registrations are not publicly searchable, and we never confirm whether a specific email has registered — not on this site and not on request.

Email communications

Every email we send relates to the waitlist you joined: invitations, launch updates, and occasional platform announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and you can also ask us to delete your registration entirely through the contact page.

Referrals

When someone joins through your referral link, we record that your code was used. We do not expose your email address or identity to the people you invite, and their registration details are never shown to you.

Storage and security

Registrations are stored in a secured database that is not accessible from the browser. Access is limited to server processes operated by ProfitPit and to authorized administrators. We apply industry-standard safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We keep waitlist registrations until you ask us to delete them or until the waitlist ends and the data is no longer needed. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics (such as total signup counts) may be kept after individual records are removed.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to delete your registration, correct your email address, or stop receiving updates at any time through the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, such as the right to access or export the information we hold about you.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the registration.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform develops. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced to waitlist members before they take effect.
